NOTICE OF JOINT APPLICATION FOR CONNECTION PERMIT AND APPROVAL OF
CONNECTION AGREEMENT
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) hereby gives notice that PTE
Pipeline LLC (PTEP LLC) and BP Transportation (Alaska) Inc. (BPTA) filed a joint
application for a permit to connect the Point Thomson Export Pipeline to the Badami
Pipeline System, on March 28, 2013. PTEP LLC and BPTA also request approval of the
Connection Agreement related to the design, installation, maintenance, operation,
removal and costs of certain facilities to be constructed or modified at or near the point
of connection. The Point Thomson Export Pipeline, now under construction, will
transport oil approximately 22 miles from the Point Thomson Central Pad to the existing
Badami Sales Oil Pipeline at the Badami Central Facilities Pad, and on through the Trans
Alaska Pipeline System to market. Docket No. P-13-005 was opened to address this
matter.
