Water Main Extension Agreements -
Notice of Utility Tariff Filing.
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that the
MUNICIPALITY OF ANCHORAGE d/b/a ANCHORAGE WATER AND WASTEWATER UTILITY
(AWWU) has filed a tariff revision designated as TA151-122. In TA151-122, AWWU, on
behalf of the Anchorage Water Utility, requests Commission approval to amend Rule
10.1.B to require design, inspection, and contract administration be performed by a
registered professional engineer. Additionally, AWWU requests that Rule 10.10.C be
amended to require that the design of a water main extension conform to the AWWU
Design and Construction Practices Manual.
