NOTICE OF CARRIER PETITION TO RELOCATE PUBLIC INTEREST PAY TELEPHONE
The Regulatory Commission of Alaska (Commission) gives notice that Arctic Slope
Telephone Association Cooperative, Inc. (ASTAC) filed a petition on August 9, 2013,
requesting approval to relocate a Public Interest Pay Telephone (PIPT) in the Point Lay
exchange. ASTAC seeks to relocate the PIPT from the Kali School location to the
Community Center building, which is located on the same block as the school. Docket U-13-156 has been opened to address this matter. ASTAC is requesting no changes to the
annual Alaska Universal Service Fund support level previously approved by the
Commission for this PIPT in March 2008 (Docket U-07-061).
