Waiver of Tariff Rules -
Notice of Utility Petition.
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that
the local exchange affiliates of Alaska Communications Systems (ACS of Alaska,
LLC, ACS of Anchorage, LLC, ACS of Fairbanks, LLC, and ACS of the
Northland, LLC, which each do business as Alaska Communications Systems,
Alaska Communications, ACS Local Service, and ACS) (collectively “ACS LECs”)
filed a request to waive regulations that require the ACS LECs to maintain a tariff
and submit tariff filings to the Commission in competitive study areas that have
no dominate carrier. Docket U-14-088 was opened to address this matter.
