EPA’s Proposed Clean Air Act Section 111(d).
On Friday, October 10, 2014, the Regulatory Commission of Alaska (RCA) opened
Docket I-14-007 to investigate the potential impacts of the U.S. EPA’s proposed
Clean Air Act Section 111(d) rule establishing carbon pollution emission guidelines.
With Order I-14-007(1) the RCA solicits information from the electric utility industry
and other interested persons and schedules an October 16, 2014, conference to
receive responses to the RCA’s questions and to discuss issues related to the
proposed rule. The conference will begin at 9:00 a.m. with presentations and
