Public Notice for Alaska Power Company

The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Alaska Power Company (APC) filed TA870-2, proposing to revise Section 6.7 (Applicable Rate) and make other housekeeping changes. With TA870-2, APC proposes to include language stating that the utility will determine the appropriate initial class of service for a customer based on estimated power use at the location. APC also proposes to include that in addition to a customer being able to request a review of its service, APC may also review the appropriateness of the customer’s rate schedule. The review process will consist of evaluating the customer’s power usage over a 12-month period.
