Notice of Carrier Petition Regarding Public Interest Pay Telephones
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that
on September 10, 2014, United Utilities, Inc. (UUI) filed a petition requesting
approval to relocate an existing Public Interest Pay Telephone (PIPT) in the
Tuntutuliak exchange from Corporation Store to the Tuntutuliak Washeteria. UUI
also requests the Commission update its records to reflect a phone number
change for the existing PIPT located in the Oscarville exchange. No changes to
the annual Alaska Universal Service Fund support level previously approved for
either PIPT by the Commission are requested. Docket U-14-103 has been
opened to address this matter.
