Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that on June 26,
2014, Alaska Power Company (APC) filed a tariff advice filing designated as TA845-2
seeking Commission approval to clarify the text on Tariff Sheet No. 83. The proposed
effective date is August 11, 2014.
The revision changes a provision addressing the hand-delivering of shut-off notices for
customers 25 miles or more from the nearest location from which the utility delivers
notices. APC proposes to change the wording of the second paragraph from requiring
hand-delivery if telephone contact cannot be made to requiring hand-delivery where
there is no valid telephone number on file with the company for use in attempting
personal contact.
