RCA ANNOUNCES NEW WEBSITE FEATURES AVAILABLE 12/28 - NEW SEARCHES AND OTHER ENHANCEMENTS

-     Scheduling Calendar: (under What's New at the RCA) ability to identify available times based on the schedules of Commissioners and staff assigned to a particular matter. Refer to the attached help documentation for additional information.

-     Quick Access to Certificates or Entities (Companies) from Home Page: under Top Searches on the home page, enter a certificate number or entity name and click Go to quickly go to detail pages.

-     Search for Transcripts: ability to search for transcripts, agendas, and other documents associated with hearings and meetings (including searching the content of these documents). Available under RCA Exchange: Search by Type (Documents and Documents-Full Text) and Advanced Search. Refer to the “tell me about this search” links on each search page for additional information.

-     "Match Found In" Information for Full-text Searches: when performing a full-text search, ability to identify where the full-text match was found-description, synopsis, or within a particular file. Available under RCA Exchange: Search by Type (Documents-Full Text) and Advanced Search. Refer to the “tell me about this search” links on each search page for additional information.

-     Search for Text within Matter Titles or Short Descriptions: when performing an Advanced Search (Matter), ability to look for a word or phrase only in the matter title or short description (excluding matches within the contents of documents). To perform such a search, unselect all Document Types. Refer to the “tell me about this search” for additional information.

-     REORGANIZED Document Searches: use one search under Search by Type (Documents) to search all types of documents, including Filings, Orders, and Supporting Documents associated with hearings/meetings. When performing the search, select the categories of documents you want to search for (Filings/Issuances, Orders, and/or Supporting Documents on Hearings/Meetings). By default, all types of documents will be searched. Refer to the “tell me about this search” link for additional information.

-     Public Notices/Comments for Specific Utility Types: a list of open Public Notice periods for each utility type is now available on the utility-type pages under For Consumers.

-     Electronic submission of RCC Quarterly Reports and RCC Payments: submit RCC quarterly reports on the RCA website and launch to the Department of Revenue’s payment site. Available only to logged in users; additional information (including user IDs and passwords) will be sent to utilities subject to RCCs.

-     Annual Operations Reports Web form: submit subset of annual operations report data using a Web form. Available only to logged in users; additional information will be sent to utilities.

-     Electronic Filing (BETA): Beta version of electronic filing for utilities. Selected utilities will be contacted with additional information.


UPDATES

-     On Mailsheets (under What's New at the RCA: Daily Filings/Issuances), court cases associated with appeals are displayed.

-     Date issued/received added to Recent Filings and Orders (under What's New at the RCA).

-     Increased limit on files uploaded to Public Comments to 10MB per file.

-     Added additional types of elections information to RCA Reports: Deregulation/reregulation page (available under RCA Library), including whether Voter Approved and the type of election.

-     On Filing Details page, added ability to open Supporting Documents. Also lists entities related to the Supporting Document and whether the document is confidential.

-     Made the option to save search to browser favorites available in all browsers.

-     Added link to State of Alaska home page through the State seal on each page.

-     Corrected sort on Documents tab of Entity Details pages.
