NOTICE OF UTILITY APPLICATION TO ACQUIRE CONTROLLING INTEREST
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that on August 6,
2014, United Utilities, Inc. (UUI) and Yukon Telephone Company, Inc. (YTC) jointly filed an
application to transfer controlling interest of YTC to UUI. YTC holds Certificate of Public
Convenience and Necessity No. 213, authorizing local exchange telephone service in Ruby,
Tanana, and Whittier, Alaska. Docket U-14-100 was opened to address this matter.
