Intrastate Transportation Rate Increase -
NOTICE OF PIPELINE CARRIER TARIFF FILING
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that ALPINE
TRANSPORTATION COMPANY (Alpine) has filed tariff revision TL30-538. In TL30-538,
Alpine proposes to increase its rate for the in-state transportation of petroleum through
its pipeline from the Alpine Field to the Kuparuk River Unit connection from the current
rate of $0.86 per barrel to $1.01 per barrel. Alpine submitted the rate calculation under
seal pursuant to Section I-5(a) of the Settlement Agreement entered into between the
State of Alaska and Alpine Transportation Company. The Settlement Agreement was
approved by Commission Order P-00-15(11) on December 5, 2001. Alpine requests an
effective date of January 1, 2014, for this rate increase filing.
