Multi - Year Sales Agreement for Diesel wiith CPD Alaska -
Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that on August
21, 2014, Matanuska Electric Association, Inc. (MEA), an electric utility, filed tariff
revision TA445-18, informing the Commission of its Multi-Year Sales Agreement for the
Furnishing of Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel #2 (ULSD #2) for MEA’s Eklutna Generation Station
(EGS) between MEA and CPD Alaska, LLC (Agreement) as required by 3 AAC 52.470(e).
Additionally, MEA requests Commission approval to include fuel costs associated with
the Agreement in its future Fuel and Purchased Power Cost Rate Adjustment and
approval of a revised copy of Tariff Sheet No. 92.1.1 listing the Agreement with its other
contracts. The proposed effective date is October 6, 2014.
