The Regulatory Commission of Alaska has been informed by Alaska Waste of the
following information:
Due to the COVID-19 risk in Alaska, all of Alaska Waste’s customer service
lobbies are closed effective immediately. Our phones are open, and we are still
available via email. Local contact information is below. Customers may also pay
online at www.AlaskaWaste.com. Payment boxes are available outside most of
our customer service locations for bill payment.

Alaska Waste has also suspend our office recycling program until further notice.
Here are the details:
- The office recycling program is suspended until further notice.
- You will not be charged for service/rentals until the program begins again.
- We will not be picking up the yellow-lidded bins; we will leave bins at each office
until the program restarts.
- Please dispose of your recyclables in an alternative manner. For instance, take
recyclables home to put in your curbside recycling, or throw out recyclable
materials for now.
We know that this temporary suspension is a change for your office and we regret
that we had to make this call. Please know that safety is our top priority at Alaska
Waste for both our customers and employees. We appreciate your patience and
understanding during this time.
