R-20-005 Technical Conference.
During the public meeting held August 26, 2020, the Regulatory Commission of
Alaska voted to open a rulemaking docket to address rate design and other
regulatory barriers to the installation of electric vehicle (EV) fast charging
infrastructure. In an order issued December 4, 2020, the commission
established the regulatory docket (R-20-005) and scheduled a technical conference to
receive input on the regulatory framework.
