Assistant II Positions.
Under the direction of the Consumer Protection Section Chief, the Consumer Protection
& Information Officer I position will investigate informal complaints filed by consumers
and the general public regarding services, rates, charges, billing disputes, and
management practices of public utility companies. This position also provides
information and consumer education concerning utility tariff filings, status of proceedings
before the commission, the effects of commission decisions in those proceedings, and

The Office Assistant II position will provide a broad range of clerical support in the
Records & Filings Section. At the direction of the Section Manager and Section Lead,
the position will assist with issuing commission orders; public meeting agendas; mail
handling and routing; filing paper records; scanning; compiling appeals; responding to
records requests; data entry into the agency’s case management system; acting as relief
for the reception desk; and applying technology skills in a busy office setting. For more
