RCA SCHEDULES A PUBLIC HEARING FOR FIELD OF VIEW WATER
SERVICES
The Regulatory Commission of Alaska released Order U-10-007(1) on Friday,
February 5, 2010, scheduling a public hearing for Field of View Water System
(Field of View).
Last month, the the RCA’s Consumer Protection Section received consumer
complaints regarding Field of View. Customers complained about poor water
quality and stated that Field of View had informed them at a homeowner’s
meeting that the utility owners would not support the utility operations after
March 12, 2010.
The purpose of the public hearing is to listen to customer complaints and obtain
information from Field of View in order to identify how Field of View services can
be improved.
The public hearing is scheduled to convene at 6:30 p.m. on February 10, 2010, at
the Central Mat-Su Public Safety Building located at 101 West Swanson Avenue,
Wasilla, Alaska.
