Interim and Permanent Rate Increase -
Notice of Utility Tariff Filing.
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Aurora
Energy, LLC (AURORA) has filed a tariff revision designated as TA76-119 in which it
proposes a 94.7% increase to the cap on its Steam Heat rates, from $10.50 to $20.45 per
thousand pounds. AURORA requests the filing become effective on January 23, 2014,
the end of the 45-day statutory notice period. Should the filing be suspended into a
docket, AURORA requests that the proposed rate cap be made interim and refundable
at that time.
