New NRC for Damage to Utility Facilities -
Notice of Utility Tariff Filings
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that GOLDEN
HEART UTILITIES, INC. (GHU) has filed tariff revisions for its water and wastewater utilities
(TA67-118 and TA62-290, respectively). With TA67-118 and TA62-290, GHU proposes to
add provisions to its water and wastewater tariffs to permit the utility to bill at cost an
person responsible for damaging utility-owned facilities or equipment to recover costs
associated with repairs or rehabilitation of any damage, including the cost of replacing
facilities or equipment damaged beyond repair.
