New LNG Supply Agreement with Harvest Alaska, LLC and GCA Cost Element -
Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Fairbanks
Natural Gas, LLC (FNG), filed tariff revision TA37-514 seeking approval of a liquefied
natural gas sales agreement (LNGSA) with Harvest Alaska, LLC (Harvest). FNG also
proposes in TA37-514 to add the LNGSA as a new cost element to FNG’s gas cost
adjustment (GCA) mechanism. FNG has not received approval of its GCA mechanism,
which is under investigation (along with FNG’s rates) in Docket U-14-102. If TA37-514 is
approved, liquefied natural gas sales with Harvest will commence immediately. The GCA
mechanism will take effect once U-14-102 is resolved and new rates are implemented.
