Utility Tariff Analyst I/II
position.
The Regulatory Commission of Alaska is recruiting for a Utility Tariff
Analyst I/II (PCN 08-6037).
This is a flexibly staffed position. The
Utility Tariff Analyst 1 is an entry
level position, and you would review and provide recommendations
regarding routine tariff filings including cost of power adjustment filings and
power cost equalization filings, and verbally defend recommendations to a
panel of Commissioners. The Utility Tariff Analyst 2 is the journey level,
and you would independently perform duties associated with proposed
tariff advice filings, and other agency filings, that may contain complex or
controversial issues, or require substantial research in areas where
precedent or guidelines have not been clearly established. You may also
collaborate with finance and engineering staff in conjunction with formal
docket proceedings.
