Public Notice TA37-684 TAG:
Request to Reduce Demand Change and Request for Waiver -
Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that TDX Adak
Generating, Inc. (TAG) has filed tariff revision TA37-684, requesting a rate change. TAG
proposes to decrease its Schedule B-1 Commercial Service demand charge from
$100.07/kW to $80.00/kW. In support of TA37-684, TAG included prefiled direct testimony.
Additionally, with TA37-684, TAG has requested a waiver of 3 AAC48.540(c) through (h)
which requires electric utilities that sell less than 100,000,000 kilowatt hours annually to
submit a cost of service study when proposing a new rate design. Further, TAG has
requested a waiver of 3 AAC 48.275(a) which requires supporting information be
included with each permanent tariff revision filing that changes a rate.
