Public Notice U-06-107 FNG:
NOTICE OF PETITION TO DISCONTINUE BI-MONTHLY REPORTS.
The REGULATORY COMMISSION of ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that
Fairbanks Natural Gas, LLC (FNG) filed a petition requesting that the Commission
remove the requirement that FNG file bi-monthly reports on the status of its progress in
securing a new long-term gas supply. The Commission issued Order U-06-107(5) on
March 22, 2007, requiring FNG to file bi-monthly reports beginning May 1, 2007, and
continue filing reports until it no longer relies upon Cook Inlet gas for its primary gas
supply. At the time of the order, FNG was working to develop a new source of gas
supply from the North Slope, but that effort has been discontinued and FNG has
requested relief from the bi-monthly reporting requirement. Docket No. U-06-107 is being
re-opened to address this matter.
