RCA Welcomes Commissioner Julie C. Vogler
Commissioner Julie C. Vogler was appointed by Governor Mike
Dunleavy to the Regulatory Commission of Alaska (RCA) on March
11, 2026. Commissioner Vogler began serving the state of Alaska
in 2004 as a Utility Financial Analyst (UFA) 1, the entry level
position in the UFA series. As her career evolved, she advanced
through the UFA series to the UFA 4, which included supervisory
duties. While in the UFA 4 role, she also served as the Advisory
Section Manager for a short duration, overseeing both the Tariffs
Section and the Finance Section. Prior to her appointment,
Commissioner Vogler served as the Utility Master Analyst at the
RCA.
Commissioner Vogler received a Bachelor of Business
Administration, Finance from the University of Alaska Anchorage in
2001 and a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting from
the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2011.
