SCAM ALERT.
It has come to our attention that people in Anchorage are receiving calls from scammers claiming
to be an employee of the Regulatory Commission of Alaska (RCA) and demanding immediate
payment for delinquent electric accounts. The reported spoofed telephone number the scammers
are using is the RCA's main line (907) 276-6222.
If you receive such a phone call, please hang up and contact your utility company. You may also
file a report using the Anchorage Police Department's Online Reporting
System.
