RCA is recruiting for a Utility Engineering Analyst III. This is a full performance, advanced
professional level position.
RCA engineers analyze a variety of data and provide expert advice to Commissioners who
regulate Alaska’s oil and gas pipelines, including the Trans Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS), natural
gas, electric, water, wastewater, and refuse utilities. An RCA engineer develops broad expertise
in industries which impact Alaska’s economy and as such, play a critical role in the Alaskan
regulatory environment.
RCA engineers must be highly motivated as much of the analysis is performed independently
within strict timelines. Most communication is written, so strong writing skills are required.
Engineers also provide their recommendations verbally, and therefore must be able to respond
to inquiry and participate in debate.
The recruitment period for this position closes March 15, 2013 at 5:00 pm. For a complete
