RCA Commissioner Dan Sullivan's retirement from the Commission.
RCA Commissioner Dan Sullivan has announced his retirement from
the Commission effective May 31, 2023. He was appointed to the
Commission by Governor Dunleavy in 2019. He previously served as
Mayor of Anchorage from 2009-2015. Sullivan said “It has been an
honor to serve on the Commission as we met significant challenges,
including approving the purchase of ML&P by Chugach Electric, the
transfer of BP Alaska’s pipeline assets to Hilcorp Alaska, the approval
of the Railbelt Reliability Council (RRC) among many other issues. I
truly appreciate the hard work of my fellow Commissioners past and
present, the amazing RCA staff and Governor Dunleavy for giving me
the opportunity to serve the State of Alaska.”
