Commissioner John M. Espindola Elected as RCA Chairman
During the public meeting held September 4, 2024, Commissioner John
M. Espindola was unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Regulatory
Commission of Alaska. Commissioner Espindola will be responsible for
administrative functions and preside over the commission for the fiscal
year term that began July 1, 2024.
During the meeting Chairman Espindola stated he is honored and grateful
for the vote of confidence in electing him for this leadership position. He is
excited about the opportunity to contribute to the Commission’s success in
this new role and looks forward to working closely with staff to continue
building a positive and productive work environment which will ultimately
benefit the people of Alaska.
