NOTICE OF UTILITY TARIFF FILING
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that HOMER
ELECTRIC ASSOCIATION, INC. (HEA), an electric utility, has filed tariff revision TA354-32,
proposing to revise its Cost of Power Adjustment (COPA) surcharge calculation
methodology by adding a new cost element for gas storage and related transportation,
injection and withdrawal costs incurred under the Firm Storage Service (FSS) Agreement
between Alaska Electric and Energy Cooperative, Inc. (AEEC) and Cook Inlet Natural Gas
Storage Alaska, LLC (CINGSA). HEA also proposes to remove the cost element for costs
incurred under the all-requirements purchase agreement with Chugach Electric
Association, Inc. expiring January 1, 2014 from its COPA calculation, and make other
related typographical revisions.
