Comment Period for Water and Wastewater Rates Proposed by Golden Heart and College Utilities
(TA101-118, et al.).
The Regulatory Commission of Alaska issued a notice that Golden Heart Utilities, Inc., (GHU) and
College Utilities Company (CUC) filed tariff revisions for their water and wastewater rates. With
these filings, GHU and CUC propose an across the board interim rate increase of 10.50 percent for
water rates and 12.00 percent for wastewater rates effective July 15, 2019. GHU and CUC further
request a permanent rate increase of 16.61 percent for water rates and 18.10 percent for
wastewater rates to be effective upon completion of the rate case.
The Commission is accepting comments through July 10, 2019. The following links may be helpful
