TA372-8: Currently, Chugach’s filings include both actual and accrued expense levels within each quarter, which are subsequently trued-up in the following quarter. These monthly accruals and subsequent reversals add additional complexity to each filing and require Commission Staff to evaluate the reasonableness of the accruals. To mitigate this complexity, Chugach will no longer be submitting and including for recovery accrued expenses. To successfully make this change, Chugach is requesting that its current requirement to submit its quarterly filings within 45 days (shown on Tariff Sheet No. 92) after the end of each quarter be permanently extended to 60 days.
