My name is Shayla Blood and I live in Anchorage, Alaska. I support raising the statewide cap for net metering because it incentivizes our neighbors to get more solar on the grid. We are facing a natural gas crisis in Alaska, and updating to the maximum safe amount of net metering capacity will help ensure we have enough energy generated to conserve gas for heating our homes.
