The Alaska Public Interest Research Group (AKPIRG) respectfully submits these written comments on proposed regulations for R-23-001. AKPIRG, established in 1974, advocates on behalf of public and consumer interests. To our knowledge, we are the only non-governmental organization focused on addressing Alaska-specific consumer interest issues. AKPIRG is opposed to the proposed regulations in this docket reducing the number of RCA public meetings by 50%.
